Online shopping these days become more and more popular, people are tend to buy more products online. Although, the consumers often mislead by the pictures and descriptions of products, this will provide various choices in small span of time to the customers. In my opinion, this is one advantageous approach for shopping despite the problems that they will inevitably face.
The greatest benefit of catalogue purchase is, one can pick their products online by comparing with other models which are manufactured by different companies, which in turn is not possible if the customer visits the shop in person. If the customer step in to the shopping in person, they should walk in to all shops to get information like product description, cost and warranty etc. It is time consuming process and sometimes the consumers may not find their desired things. For Instance, I thought of buying my mobile phone in one near by retail store where there they displayed only fewer models with less features. Then I decided to switch electronic purchase, where I found plethora of options and bought it in one good deal. Sometimes online marketers are providing few promotional offers which attracts customers.
There are few disadvantages with offline shopping. Firstly, it is time consuming, one should go to real stores needs to find their required products. Secondly, the attenders are often unaware of the information about features and usage. Thirdly, we cannot compare the product with other choices and offers. Finally, the consumer reviews are not available in real stores, this reviews will flash the idea about the product and its working condition to the customers. For example, sometimes we may buy the things by incurring more budget, so it often much important to get aware of the reviews before moving forward.
To sum up, There are plenty advantages with teleshopping where we can choose our products in single glance and we can complete our full shopping in short span. So, these days most of the people are going for online purchase. Though there are few disadvantages with online shopping these are overshadowed by the advantages of ecommerce.
