The following is a diagram that shows how ethanol fuel is produced from a simple crop, that is corn. It is a detailed diagram that makes it easier to underdstand how this fuel is produced and the various procedures and steps taken to produce this particular fuel.
Firstly, the process begins with the growth of corn. It is then stored, following by milling the corn carefully. Moving further, water is then used to cook this particular crop, for about four hours. After it has been cooked for such a long period, a longer process follows, which is called Fermenting. This particular process takes about fourty eight hours.
Then, a very interesting process is followed which is the separation of the liquid and the solid by product after the fermentation has taken place. Ethanol is then finally purified for five hours straight.
It is then stored and later finally transported to the particular destination.
