Job
Whether job satisfaction for salary is more important depends on the individual’s situation and opinion.
Personally, when I graduated college, I did not prioritize income but only focused on finding a job to add
working experiences to my résumé. Fresh graduates who don’t need to support their families can easily
earn a living wage with an entry-level job. They can eventually search for positions that offer better
salaries later in their career when they have built a solid set of professional skills. Many others believe
otherwise. My friend who studied abroad set herself a minimum salary for her first job out of college
and only applied to organizations with salaries above that threshold. In her opinion, the cost of studying
abroad her family paid should be offset by a higher salary than the typical local graduate.
