Together with the improvements in society, it seems rather ironic that increasing the professor's salary will enhance the quality of education. Thus, the question has been raised as to whether universities should increase the salary of their professors or not. While it is undeniable that both arguments have their own merits to boast; if forced to choose one over another, my resolute standpoint is definitely in line with giving out more salary to the professors and I will explain the reasons why in the following essay.
To begin with, additional investment in the lecturer's salary can motivate them to teach harder and productively. In other words, professors will work harder with a passion to teach the students which can improve the student's academic performance by expanding their minds. I assume that a personal example can shed light on this notion. A couple of years ago when I was studying at the University of Manchester, lecturers that receive high income devotes their time to teach me the chapters that I am having difficulties to cope up. On the other hand, professors whose salaries are lower than others do not manage their time to teach the weaker students. Should universities pay more to the professors, they will feel satisfied and they will eventually teach the students with determination and enthusiasm. It is clear with this example that professors deserve a pay rise.
Moreover, raising the professor's wages can attract more professional teachers. In fact, a survey conducted by the American education community shows that educators are always looking for an institution that gives out more salary. This is because most of the teachers have to find a second job to support their families. My Biology teacher is a compelling example of this. He works as a private tutor during the weekend because of the low wages he gets. Besides, If more jobs are fulfilled then universities could provide more classrooms and extra classes for the under-privileged students. This clearly shows why professors need to get more wages.
All in all, I strongly believe that universities should raise the teacher's salary because of the reasons mentioned above. Therefore, nothing in my mind cast doubt on my stance regarding the given statement.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
