It is commonly believed that in life success is not the most important thing It is more important to remain happy and optimistic when we fail Do you agree with this idea
It is critically important that we enjoy life and maintain our sanity regardless of circumstances that we may fibd ourselves in. Personally, I believe that achieving our life goals is vital and most important to make us remain joyful. There are two reasons why I feel this way which I would explore in the following essay.
To begin with, when a student is successful in his academics, he becomes glad, automatically strengthened to ascend greater heights, and even dare the impossible. My personal experience is a compelling example to illustrate this point. During my final year of studying Mining Engineering in the University, I applied for an undergraduate scholarship that would fully sponsor my studies. I had always wanted to study on scholarship because of my academic prowess and due to my poor financial background. When I was finally pronunced as one of the recipients of the Federal Government Scholarship, I became very elated and enthusiastic to even put more efforts in my academics. In contrast to my previous attempts to win the sponsorship. I would feel so downcast after several rejections since my first year in the school.
Furthermore, becoming successful in our endeavors can bring us to a position of honor even at our place of work. But when there is no record of success in pursuit of our life goals, soon we become sad and worn-out because not everyone knows how to handle failure. For instance, three years back, I worked as a site Engineer in a construction company in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. After several years of serving the company meritoriously, I thought to myself that I deserved to be promoted so I wrote a letter to the company's management to call their attention. It only not took a few days before my letter was treated and my promotion approved. This was strictly because of my track records of success in several projects that were anchored by the company which I supervised. Meanwhile, there was a colleague named John, who we started work in thesame year. He could have also been promoted. However, his promotion was denied because he had not successfully completed any project assigned to his care by the company's management. For John, he found life fulfilment and joy in his work rather than in any other thing. So, after being denied of promotion severally, remaining happy and optimistic was not an option for him. John became enervated and sad that he eventually resigned work. This example clearly demonstrate how success is mostly important in our day-to-day activities.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that becoming successful is mostly important in life. This is because success will eventually give us joy, strength to attain greater heights, and bring us to a position of honor.

Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:
para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.
So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:
reasons == advantages or
reasons == disadvantages
for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
