integrated TOEFL writing

Both the reading and the lecture talk about the cornea injury. The author of the reading passage provides some causes, symptoms, and solutions to this illness. Likewise, the lecturer states some reasons for cornea injury, signals, and treatments.

The first point the author makes is that cornea injury leave serious problems to the vision of the injuried .The article notes that if the injury happens around the center of the eye, the vision of the patient will be affected by a small scar tissue. Likewise, the lecturer believes that cornea injury can be caused by various reasons. She argues that flying species which directly touch the lens can harm the cornea. Moreover, chemicals or dryness also an indicator of causing the cornea injury.

Another key point the author makes is that cornea injury can be realized by many symptoms. It is mentioned that when the eye are sensitive to light or hurt by water, cornea may be wounded and the injury must take a treatment. Similarly, the author contends that exposing to light for a long time makes the lens more and more tired which cause cornea injury.

The last point the author makes is that there are some helpful treatment which the doctor are using to cure their patients. The article established that by dropping of liquid or turning on the light, shining the light while looking at the cornea are one of many effective solution to cornea injury. This point is also made in the lecture which argues that the doctor can use oilment, drops, eyepatchs, or artificial tears to heal their cornea patient.
