Sinosauropteryx is a kind of dinosaur, that its fossil skeleton is found under volcano ashes in Liaoning, China, in 1996. there are some evidences demonstrate that the Sinosauropteryx had feathers. However, there are some negative opinions for some paleontologists against them. we have three reasons here to argue that.
Firstly, the lecture said, feathers have a strong structure in comparison to other organs of a dead animal, that are buried in volcanic ash. so, decomposition, in this case, is different, and it proves that it was feathers, not fiber. However, the reading said, maybe it skin decomposed to fiber.
secondly, as the lecturer said, there are differences between frills and feathers. Based on chemical differences, and exist of Carotene it should be feather. but, the reading said, most of the dinosaurs had frills in their anatomy structures or their shape of the body.
thirdly, for the last reason the lecturer said, there are some birds with feathers that, located along the backbone and the tail of them; such as Pee cock. The male Pee cocks, use their feathers to attract female one. Formore, new researches show that the Sinosauropteryx remains had two colors, like orange and white. these two reasons are good documents to prove it, that dinosaurs had feather. on the other hand, the reading said, the structures are not useful for fly, and
it would represent feathers.
