In this essay, I will write about some of the reasons why you should consider studying spanish as a second language, and how learning it can help you develop different skills and/or broaden the spectrum of advantages it provides to the user speaker or writer.
Spanish is one of the top three spoken languages in the world, and studying it would mean to broaden your frontiers and dramatically expand the number of people you could talk to and learn from.
Learning how to read and speak spanish is a fantastic idea if you are aiming to work at an international company, not only will it help you get an edge over your co-workers, it will also help you communicate more effectively with different kinds of people. You have to remember that most developing economies are spanish speakers.
Also, it is advised to learn spanish because is quite possible to encounter more than one person in you office that will be a spanish speaker, and learning how to talk in his tongue will boost your possibilities in making more teams and better your relationships with your partners in the office.
It’s true that english is used as a universal language in business, but that doesn’t mean spanish is used scarcely around the world either. It is known that more than one third of our world speaks spanish as their mother tongue.
However, it must be pointed out that Spanish is one of the hardest languages to master, and is that complexity that gives depth and strength to this tongue. Poets and writers have a better time expressing their inner world and feelings when writing in spanish.
Additionally, expressions of love and sadness usually have one to two words in english while in spanish the word love can be replaced by a myriad of different words within a scale letting the writer or speaker express their own feelings with more accuracy and beauty around their words.
