According to the passage, these this kind of reptile are were unable to fly, because they are were cold-blooded animals, heavy, and their legs are diminutive and fragile , . on On the other hand, the lecture proves that the theories are wrong. Actually, they are capable of flying.
The lecture states that the passage is unsubstantiated, because they havehad enough energy to fly. Pterosaurs actually have had hair, so they are were warm-blooded animals. Hairs can assist them to keep warm. Their metabolism arewere like warm-blooded animals, so they have had the ability to produce energy that can help them to fly.
The lecture also confirms that pterosaurs are were light for their size, which is opposite to the passage that says they are were too heavy for flying. Their bones are were hollow, which makes them lighter, as a result it can could help pterosaurs to stay in the air.
After crushing the first two theories, the lecture begins to deal with the last one. It is shown that birds jump or run with two feet, while pterosaurs jumped or run ran with all four hands and feet, just like bats. Therefore, they can could jump high enough and run fast enough.
