The reading passage and the the speaker discussing the team work advantage and dis advantage in different perspective point of view.

First of all, the reading passage says that the team work have lot of advantages there because, in team all member will contribute more knowledge, skill and expediter so that team work will give good result in the working environment. But the speaker refutes this point by saying that even though some of the very excellent in their team, his individual name may not come to the stage because of the team work and his effort and credit goes to team but if he is working individually then definitely everyone will recognise him.

Secondly, the reading passage state that risky problem and doing the work quickly can be solved by the team work than by the individual work because there is lot of resources are available in the team whereas individual work it not available. Again the professor refutes this point by stating that, in a team whatever process they taking it take long time as well as if team authority doesn't give permission for the work, that work will be dropped whereas in individual work they look for alternative and solution he/ she will get.

Thirdly,the reading passage suggests that when team is very strong and good voice for making decision then the productivity will increase. Once again the lecturer oppose this point by saying that for example one employee having very good creativity talent, if decision maker of the team doesn't like him for some other reason the that employee creativity goes in vain.
