First, the writer states, stope spreading of spores by washing hikers shoes or scrubbing bicycle. Second, the author argues, using fungicidal can kill these species and prevent spreading of it to the surrounding area. This argument is reputed by professor, she states that fungicidal can stop the effect of fugus only few month, in addition we need to inject these chemicals directly in the stump of trees, this is may be can be effective with limited amount of trees in the city, but it is more difficult to inject a thousand and thousand trees in the forest.
Finally, the author, posts, clear-cutting of the area with infected trees can to burn the trees with the fungus and decrease the disease. The lecturer in the other hand refutes this suggestion, she illustrates to, burning infected trees can also burn healthy trees in the forest, moreover there are very rare trees in the forest that can burn and never grow again, hence burning diseased trees is impractical method to prevent spread of disease.
