Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they challenge the specific points made in the reading passage.
Both the passage and the lecturer discuss the asteroids and the possibility of colonization them. The article mentions varieties of reasons to support the idea of the possibility living there, on the other hand, the professor points out some persuasive ideas that decline the reasons.
Firstly, according to the passage, because asteroids have lower gravity due to their small size than other planets, then spaceships landing and departing is safer, and they can carry some equipment to colony's use and less fuel needs. Conversely, the lecturer dismisses the reason, she believes that the low gravity of astroids cause some health problems for people like, like decreasing bone density and muscle mass, especially for a long time. so it cannot be practical.
Second, the author of the writing is of the opinion that astroids are rich of some valuable elements, such as metal like gold and platinum, which the colonies can transport them to the Earth for selling and earning money. However, the speaker refutes this belief with the reason that these valuable metals are heavy to transporting, so it is not economical, and increasing the amount of these kinds of metals during the time the price and value of the decline, in this way it cannot be beneficial.
At last, the reading points the astroids' distance from Earth in comparison of Mars and Moon, this means the traveling to Earth is very easy and affordable. On the other hand, the lecturer stands on the opposite side, and she is of the opinion that, these astroids usually move on their orbit, so this means that some times they moves far away, even as Moon's distance fromthe Earth, then it cause some problem to travel the colonies, as a result it is not a persuasive idea.
