TOEFL TPO 24 - Integrated Writing Task

In this set materials, the reading passage state that some researchers found fossils from the T.rex animals that show actual tissues and blood vessels of animals. On the other hand, the listening section brings into question the reading points by providing different reasons (and examples).

First of all, the reading passage indicates that some small branch channels are discovered inside the fossils bone that probably shows blood vessels. In contrast, the lecturer opposes this view by mentioning that these soft flexible tissues that discover inside a bone, remain from another animal. Also, some bacteria were lived inside the bone, and they made some hollows in this bone; therefore, these hollows do not show the blood vessels, and they left only from bacteria that live in the bone.

Second, the reading argues that researchers have found some spheres that they think they were red blood cells; conversely, what the professor believes is different. He points that we could not find other spheres particle in other fossils that discovered in the same place. Furthermore, this sphere particle could not blood cells; hence, they maybe remain from reddish minerals.

Finally, according to the reading, scientists have been found some collagens that lived in the bone tissue. However, the speaker claims that collagens cannot live more than 1000 years, and these fossils lived 70-million-years ago. Thus, this collagen does not belong the Tyrannosaurus fossils. They remain from other resources such as the skin of people who discovered or displace the fossils.
