The article states that the opinion of four days week work would benefit the economy as a whole as well as the individual companies and employees who decided to take this option. however the professor refutes this opinion and oppose each of the author's reasons.

First, the article claims that the shortened workweek would increase company profits because employees would feel more rested and alter and as a result they would make fewer costly errors in their work.in the other hand, the professor opposes this point by saying that this opinion might force the company spend more and a lot more money .he gives an example of this cost as hiring new employees needs offices space ,computers, and also training costs. as a result these cost will reduce the company profit not increase it as the article claims.

Second , the article posits that there is an benefit for the country as a whole by claiming that one of the primary benefits of offering this option to employees is that it would reduce unemployment rates. the professor says that this opinion might be wrong because hiring is very costly as he mentions before. nevertheless ,the company might ask the employees to work over time . it might consider the four days work is similar to five days work and no additional jobs will be created.

Third, the reading explains that the option of four day workweek would be better for individual employees, yet the professor opposes this point.he explains that more free time will decrease the job abilities and also will decrease the advanced of the career. moreover, he states that there will not be any promotions to ensure coverage to supervision for entire work week.
