TPO-16 - Integrated Writing Task
In the set of materials, the reading passage and listening passage discuss about most of the twentieth century, the science of archaeology, dedicated to uncovering and studying old cultural artifacts. However, the both the author and lecturer have differents opinions about this point.
First of all, the reading passage claims that many valuable artifacts were lost and destroyed to construction projects. besides, the authors still affirms that The growth of Britain’s population, especially from the 1950s on, spurred a lot of new construction in British cities. Even though, the listening passage affirms that the artifacts are preserved and building, as well as constructions in British cities.
In the second place, the author says that archaeology was funded mostly through government founds and grants. However, the lecturer pourpose the archaeology was funded through construction’s company, not government. It is a new source of funds.
Third and last, from perspective of reading passage, it was difficult to have a career in archaeology. Even though, the author oppose this argument saying that many experts achaeology know all of process of jobs, so is not difficult.
