The reading passages states three reasons that the difficulty of archaeology research faced in United Kingdom. However the lecturer argues about the statement and offers a new rule to support herself.
First, the writer of the reading claims that many important artifacts were destoryed when building the new villages. However, the professor in the listening part disagrees with him. She says that the new guideline improves the process. When a local construction proceeds, the workers have to plan and preserve the place before acavating.
Second, the reading passages indicates the financial problem while researching archaeology. On the other hand, the lecturer says that now construction company should pay for the research which is a new source of money. In addition, the money offered by the company can also be used for developing the science of archaeology and preseving the ancient buildings.
Last but not the least, the construction company hires the processors and scholars to do the research and offers them opportunities to process data and write paper.
