In this set of materials the reading passages disscuses that the special condition of Venus make it impossile to presence of humans on this plant. While,in the listening the professor casts doubt on what is presented in the text and believes that the presence of humans on Venus not not a huge challenge and compleletly is possible.
First of all, in the text it is clearly mentioned that the atmospheric pressure on Venus is a bout 90 times greater than this pressure on Earth and this condition will be big threaten for human. However, the professor claims that theatmospheric pressure became lower when the we become far from the plants surface so when the station located in the fifty kilometer from the plants surface that atmospheric pressure will equal to earth.
In addition, the professor disagrees with this idea that because the venus has not water and enogh oxigen so the presence of space statio is impossible. He says that the chemical components that lpresent on the venus like carbon dioxide and sulfuric acide can be used to produce water and oxigen that need for station.
Finally, in the text it is stated that the thick layer of clouds on Venus refelet back most of the sunlitght so in the lack of light presence of station is impossible. He subscribes that at the fity kilometer from the plants surface that clouds is not very thick and also the station can be used this reflected light to produce electrisity that need for station .
