The graph below shoes the consumption of fish and some different kinds of meat in a European country between 1979 and 2004.
The graph illustrates the consumption of different types of meat in a European country for each person per week between 1979 and 2004.
The consumption of all kinds of meat had a downward trend except for chicken. Also in 1979, the usage of Chicken was about 150 grams which was equal to the consumption of Lamb approximately. In addition, Beef and Fish were eaten 220 and 55 grams per week per person respectively.
Nevertheless, in this period of time the consumption of Beef and Lamb declined considerably and reached to 101 and 52 grams respectively by taking account of some fluctuations for the usage of Beef between 1980 and 1986. Besides, the eating of Fish decreased marginally and reached to just under 50 grams. It is worth considering that the trend of the usage of Fish was the most stable one in comparison with others. Moreover, by 2004 the consumption of chicken had soared to 250 grams.
In conclusion, since 1979 although the eating of Beef, Lamb, and Fish has fallen, the usage of chicken has experienced a substantial rise.
