First of all, the reading says that it has been proven that watching some hours of educational TV every week can result in higher test scores for the childre. However, the professor states that countless amount of studies have show that all kind of tv are bad for the kids and in a particular case it have resulted in delayed speech development for children under the age of three.

Secondly, the reading introduces the educational TV as a great oportunity for the family bounding time stating that it will result in academic success and a better physical situation for the kid, but, the professor argues that the parents dose not always watch Tv with their child and even if they do that all of the time, this will not count as a effective family bonding time because there are not enough actual contact betwen them.

Finally, the reading states that all of the educational programs of the TV have a great overall quality due to some enforced government's regulation, However the professor cast on the executions of this rules stating that a research has shown that only one in eight of educational TV programs met those regulations.
