The diagram below shows the number of houses built per year in two cities, Derby and Nottingham, Between 2000 and 2009.
The bar graph elucidates the information on the construction of new houses in Derby and Nottingham for the period 2000 and 2009.
It is noticeable that, about 350 houses had constructed on 2009 in Derby as its number was the highest. For the first two years, 2000 and 2001, nearly 50 houses newly built in Derby and this figure speeds up its rate to reach at approximately 70 houses in 2002. Approximately 110 houses were built in 2003; this remained unchanged for 4 years until it skyrocketed to above 250 houses in 2008.
In contrast, the houses in Nottingham showed some fluctuations over the projected period. The number of houses showed an incremental trend at the first two years, in 2006 and 2009. The number houses drastically rose in 2007 of more than 10 times as there were having about 200 new houses in Nottingham and there was another similar trend in 2008 and 2009 where the newly houses were about 250 in 2009 as it was the highest number.
