The data of consumer spending on different items divided into three groups in five different countries in 2002 is illustrated by the presented table. The countries are Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey.
The highest amount of consumer spending on food/drinks/ tobacco came from Turkey by 32.14% and so on leisure/education consumption by 4.35%. While the highest amount of consumer spending on clothing/footwear was Italy by 9.00%.
On the other hand, the lowest amount of food/drinks/tobacco and also clothing/footwear consumption came from Sweden by 15.77% for the first side and 5.40% for the others. Whereas the smallest amount of leisure/education came from Spain by 1.98%.
In conclusion, from this consumer spending table we can see that the country who most interested in food/drinks/tobacco and also leisure/education in 2002 was Turkey . While, the country who most interested in clothing/footwear was Italy.
