The graph provided reveals the information on a number of hours of unpaid work per week carried out by married women and men . In this case, unpaid work deals with caring after children, household and gardening as well. Overall, the statistics represents three categories of male and female having 1-2 children, 3 and more children as well as families without children.
As is observed, the category of married women without children have 30 hours a week for the household, while the women caring after 1-2 children have a figure twice more than the latter, but less approximately by 5 hours than married women with 3 or more infants. On the other hand, the married men engaged in household or caring of children have amount of hours declining within the given categories, that is without children- 18 hours, with 1-2 children-slightly less than the previous ones and the last category’s men have also less by roughly 1 point than men with 1-2 kids.
Generally speaking, unpaid work is fulfilled by married women of all categories considerably more than men of the same categories. Moreover, it should be said, that number of hours of female rockets beginning with women without kids reaching a peak of amount 58 hours. Whereas, the male become as more free as more children they have.
