The provided pie charts demonstrates the data about raising of Australian population in 2001. Overall, population grew by immigrants and natural increase and the proportion of them was nearly on par.
It is clear from the first pie chart; the population increased about 5 percent and the ratio of two sources (natural increase and immigrants) about 3 and 2 percent respectively. According to second pie chart, more than a half of total growth accounted for natural growth whereas about forty percent of total witnessed for immigrants.
Third pie chart illustrates that about a third of immigrants made up North and West Europe in contrast with South and East Europe consisted for about a fifth of total immigrants. Third large proportion (23 %) amounted for Asia while a tiny minority of total was New Zealand, Americans and Middle Asia, 9, 8 and 5 percent accordingly
To sum up, both sources played a vital role on the growth of population and the most immigrants came from Europe in 2001.
