You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel.
Write a letter to the manager of the hotel.
Say where you think you left the papers.
Explain why they are so important
Tell the manager what you want him/her to do.
Dear sir or madam,
I am writing this letter to you in order to assist me to find some important documents that I forgot at your esteemed hotel. I believe that I left them on the desk in the auditorium room. This happens while we were preparing to leave the hotel, I collected everything except those important papers because of my rush to catch the company bus.
I cannot express how much importance those documents are. As they consist of a few contracts and some notes. The contents are highly confidential data since they have not only prices list but also names and addresses of our clients. If they fell into the wrong hands, I would be fired.
Therefore, I would be very grateful if you could find them and send them to me as soon as possible before my manager knows that I left them in the auditorium room. My number is 0120 965 36 78, so please do not hesitate to contact me, if you find any problem. Your prompt action will be highly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Yours faithfully,
Paula
