The diagram below shows how Australian Bureau of Meteorology collects up-to-the-minute information on the weather in order to produce reliable forecasts.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

A pictogram beneath illustrates the methods of up-to-minute weather information collection done by Australian Bureau of Meteorology on the weather for reliable forecast production.

The diagram shows that the Bureau mentioned above undergo four processes in forecast release. First, an information must be collected in forms of satellites, which are located in the outer space, then there are radars that are set in land. Drifting buoys are also placed in seas as a mean of data collection.

Satellites produce photos that shows composite images of the hemisphere. These images therefore are analyzed and prepared for broadcasting via television or radio. A radar is on object- detection system that uses radio waves for detection of range, angle and velocity. It consists of a transmitter producing microwaves via a receiver and a processor. Data obtained from radars are seen on a screen that are studied scientifically and pepped for information dissemination via TV newsreaders and radio broadcasters like what they do with satellite images. Since drifting buoys are set apart and placed on seas, findings collected from them are often seen as synoptic charts that are based from water temperature, height and dominant wave period. These data are then transmitted via radio. After processing these information, it is then spread then via recorded announcement that differed from the other two methods.

In conclusion, For Australian Bureau of Meteorology does not rely on one method alone for more accurate information that is essential for the protection of human lives and property. Accuracy and urgency will equip citizens for possible disasters, these methods could not stand alone, therefore combination of these will lead to lessening of their cons and more of their pros. As the saying goes "Two heads are better than one", but in this case there are three.
