You borrowed some books from your school or college library. Unfortunately you have to go away to visit a sick relative and cannot return the books in time.
Write a letter to the library. Explain what has happened and tell them what you want to do about it.
Dear Sir,
Blessed day! I am Maria Judith Parayno, a 3rd year student of Our lady of Fatima, taking Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. I wrote this letter because I borrowed some books in our library and I am not able to return the books in time.
As I said earlier, I cannot return the books that I just borrowed which is Pharmacology 2, Physical Pharmacy 3 and the Philosophy book 2. Due to one of our family member is not on a good condition, to be specific my grandfather is sick and our family here in the Philippines needs to visit him as soon as possible. Our flight will be on March 30th of 2017 going to California, USA. We need to stay there for a week, but we will be back here in the Philippines on April 6th of 2017. The books must be returned at the exact date of April 2nd of 2017, and because of this emergency. I am not able to return it at the night time. So, I wrote this letter to ask mote time or to extend the due date of returning those books until 7th of April 2017.
Hoping that you will consider this letter. Thank you for your kindness.
Sincerely yours,
Maria Judith Parayno
