The graph and table below give information about water use worldwide and water consumption in two different countries.
The line graph and table show a variety about Global water use by sector between 1990 and 2000 and the amount of water consumption in Brazil and Congo in 2000.
In general terms, there was a fluctuation of the amount of water use in the over world of three sector ( domestic use, industrial use and Agriculture). Besides, the amount of water consumption is different in Brazil and Congo in 2000.
It is clear from the line graph show that the amount of water that global use by domestic increased slightly from 0 km3 to about 400 Km3 from 1990 to 2000. This figure for industrial use rose gradually from nearly 0 km3 to around 1100 km3 in this period while the figure for Agriculture grew significantly from approximately 500 km3 to peak of about 3000 km3. it is a huge number for Agriculture.
On the other hand, the table graph show that Brazil has the all three items ( population, irrigated land and water consumption per person ) than Congo in 2000. Brazil has the crowded population ( 176 million) because it has more irrigated land (26,500 km2) so the amount of water consumption per person was large ( 359 m3) . In contrast, Congo has the sparsely population ( 5.2 million) so the amount of water consumption per person ( 8 m3) small than Brazil.
