The table graph shows information about a variety average distance in miles traveled per person per year by different modes in England between 1985 and 2000.
In general term, there was a fluctuation the number of average distance of different transport that people use traveling. Besides, the number of average distance of all modes increased significantly from 4740 miles to 6475 miles from 1985 to 2000.
It is clear from the table chart show that the number of average distance of cur accounted largest than other transport from 3199 miles to 4806 between 195 to 2000. This figure for other accounted second from 450 miles to 585 miles in this period. In contrast, the number of average distance of local bus declined gradually from 429 miles and 274 miles. The figures for walking and train is same ( 255 miles and 289 miles respectively ) in 1985, but walking has trend decreased slight ( 237 miles) while train has tend rose slightly ( 366 miles) in 2000. The number of average of distance of bicycle, long distunce bus and taxi accounted smallest ( 51,54 and 13 miles respectively) in 1985. However, this figures for bicycle dipped slightly ( 41 miles) while bus and taxi increased slightly ( 124 miles and 42 miles respectively).
