It is a common pattern for graduated students from senior high school to continue their studies in university. They believe that they could learn knowledge and skills needed in their job in the future. However, the others claim that main purpose of a university is to give knowledge for its own interest, not to provide course needed that is important to an employer. This essay would argue that the aim of university are divided in two aspects: self and networking building.

Some people believe that by continuing study in university, they could learn ability and knowledge required in their future job. This statement could be true for whom want to work as office in or work in the office running in same aspects such as construction, automotive and internship which are provided by the university.

In my opinion, the main goal of universities is not only to prepare their scholars to face job world, but also to build self and networking for their students. It is generally believed that world become more dynamic day by day. In result, it needs strong or brave people to face the unpredictable world in the future. University could provide this need because it allows their scholars to learn what they interest to, for example they want to particapate in education, entrepreneur, or governance sector. Students could get much details for their field from expert lecture and they could continue to master and doctor degree to make their knowledge become more perfect.

In addition, the other function of university is to build networking among the students which is very useful in the adult life. For example, students who have interest in business and want to be entrepreneur, they could build networking from university life. They could maintain their relationship by having discussion and establishing business together. University as media could provide link to sponsorhip to support scholars’ business.

To sum up, university has main role to prepare young generation facing unpredictable world by building self and networking for their students in the future.
