The pie chart illustrates the proportion of different vehicles use in a city called “Edmonton”. Besides, the table shows the ratio of reasons which people choose to use car in the city.
It is clearly seen that car is the most popular transport used in the city. Additionally, people mainly use this kind of vehicle for travelling to work and for business.
As can be seen in the pie chart that 45% was the proportion of car use in Edmonton, which is 10% higher than the figure for transporting by LRT. Meanwhile, the ratio of using bus and taxi only account for 10%.
People in the city use car for various reasons. Most of them are for going to workplace and for business, which account for 55% and 45%, respectively. The ratio of car use for taking children to school accounts for 40%. In contrast, there is only 15% of car used for shopping purpose and free time activities
