The circular chart reveals the information about the four main causes of land degradation, and the tabular chart depicts the information about the affected degrade land in three different regions during the year of 1990. The data is calibrated in percentum. Which is clearly and coherently represented.
As, it is crystal clear from the graph. There are several causes of land degradation. However, the main cause is overgrazing (35%). Moreover, the causes of less productive land is over-cultivation (28%), deforestation(30%), and other (7%) respectively.
As far as trend was concerned that there was three different nation (North America, Europe, Oceania). The highest deforestation had increased in Europe nation. After that, the over-cultivation, overgrazing, total land degraded in North America was 3.3, 1.5 and 5% respectively. In addition to this, the overgrazing had been increased in Oceania country.
Overall, it is evident that overgrazing activity is the major cause of land degradation. As compare to the other three of main causes, deforestation is the major cause especialy in Europe region.
