You are planning to go on a holiday in another country. Write a letter to your friend asking him/her to join. Include following in your letter.
• Why you need a holiday.
• Your holiday plans.
• Why you need your friend to join with you.
Dear Dave,
How are you doing? I hope this letter finds you in good health and mental peace. It’s been a long since we hang out the last time. So, I was thinking to take a trip together.
Lately, I was completely occupied with work and emotionally drained from the divorce I had in October. In order to re-energize myself and take a break from the routine, I’ve decided to take a vacation to Thailand, which offers great value for money due to low currency conversion rate. Thus, it is quite crucial for me to take step back and reevaluate my life by taking a vacation.
Nevertheless, I took liberty to outline few places in Thailand which are the best to visit at this time of the year. Starting with Pattaya, where the main attractions are beaches and ancient Buddhist temples, then to Phuket for two days before travelling to Bangkok as our last stop in the trip. Overall, it is about a week that we’re going to spend.
Why don’t you join with me on this adventure? This will be a great opportunity for us to re-live our old college days. Besides, I could really use you tour management skills and your emotional support through this bad phase of life.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Best wishes,
Sandip
