you were on a pleasant trip and had rented a flat from your friend who was on an holiday. Write a letter to your friend and in your letter writ him:
>how you felt about the trip and
>how did you take care of his house in his absence.
Dear John,
How are you? I hope you are doing well.
I would like to share my experience in your flat.
As you remember, this trip was important for my university assignment, as i was suppose to do an industrial training for the final semester, which i have successfully able to complete, and have submitted the reports and waiting for result.
I would like to thank you for letting me rent your flat while in your absence. This trip was a life changing experience for me as it was the first time i ever stayed alone by myself. I learned to cook, as your neighbors shared few local recipes, i couldn't resist.
As the company's office was nearby i didn't take bus i use to walk and it has brought a change in my lifestyle.
The local markets have lost's of fresh fruits to offer, and sightseeing places as amazing and the sunset near the sea is very beautiful.
Though, you were missed. I would have loved to explore the sights with you.
I would also like to share with you that every weekend i use to broom and mop the house and plant waters to your plants.
The old tap has been replaced with the new one in the sink. Your neighbors helped me to get the plumbers number. The
electricity and water bill has been paid for a month.
I couldn't help but noticed that you needed some flower plants so i thought bought them and kept it next to the aloe vera
plant, as it would compliment your room and its the simplest way for me to thank you.
I hope you don't mind the changes i have done. And i look forward to hear from you soon.
Your friend,
Jenny
