Overall, Canada was the highest rate of imported of fish as 60% whereas China was the lowest rate as only 13% in 1988. Also, the value of imports rose by almost double over the period.
As can be seen, the rate of imported fish from Canada played a vital role as more than a half of total percentages while other countries rate of imported fish are 27%. However, China was the lowest rat of imported as 13%. The overall revenue was almost 7 Billions of Dollars in 1988. In 1992, the rate of imported fish has increased by 7% from China and by 21% from other countries while rate plummet by 24% from Canada. The profit has augmented approx 2 Billions of Dollars from 1988 to 1992.
In 2000, the rate of imported declined from 34% to 28% from Canada but the rate climbed for China and other countries as 20% to 30% and 42% to 46% respectively. Also, the revenue has increased and reached almost 11 Billions of Dollars. This represents a huge increase of value from 1988 to 2000.
