You and your family are planning to spend a weekend at a seaside hotel.
Task: Write a letter to the hotel making the arrangements. Let them know when you will be arriving and leaving, what type of rooms you would like, and ask them how much the weekend will cost. Also enquire about activities and places of interest near the hotel.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing in regards to a booking that I am planning to do in order to spend the long weekend at your hotel and enjoy its recommended facilities with my family.
We will be arriving on Saturday 10 am and leavng on Monday 11 am of this coming weekend. As we are four in total, my husband and myself and my two children, 18 and 12 years old, I would like to have an apartment with three bedrooms, as my daughter wants to have her own privacy in a room just for herself.
Please send me the price for the whole weekend including access to all the facilities available at the hotel. My son is an excelent swimmer and he would love to enjoy the pool at evenings. Is the pool available 24/7? Also, could you please send us the map of the region with the suggestions of restaurants and night life nearby?
I am looking forward to your response so we can arrange the payment of the reservation.
Yours faithfully,
Mary Lee.
