Summarize the points made in the lecture, being sure to explain how they respond to the specific points made in the reading passage.
The reading claims that there are three theories that prove the basic of the Voynich manuscript that no one has realized that book until now. However, the lecturer finds all ideas dubious and presents some evidence to refute them all.
the author argues that the manuscript is an especial work consist of some unknown codes that is similar to a herbal that its origin is for 1550.Conversely, the lecturer brings up the idea that in the the book that was written by Ascham there are not any original ideas for example in the herbal there are common plants base on other well-known sources so this is impossible for this writer to offer some thing like this.
Furthermore, the reading passage holds the view that the manuscript is fake and there is no real magical powers in that and the purpose of creating this book was just for selling it to a wealthy noble. On the contrary, the professor underlines the fact that Edward Kelley was not a honest man and deceived people but there is not any good reason for the writer to create the manuscript to sell it to rich people because the people of sixteen century tended to simple texts and there was no necessary for writer to write a complex work like this as a fake book.
Finally, the reading asserts that the manuscript is a modern fictitious to be an antique book an earn a lot of money from that. In contrast, the speaker dismisses this issue due to the fact that the material that has used for the manuscript such as volume pages and ink pages are for 400 years old and it is not reasonable that Voynich has made the manuscript as a fake book because he could not find any ink from 400 years old so it can be conclude that the manuscript had been created before Voynich obtain it.
