Dear Max,
Hope you and your family are all well. Thanks for your letter and the birthday card, it was quite a surprise for me. Anyways, the reason I am writing to you is that I want you to join me on a trip to the Gold Coast and Sydney.
My brother and I have planned this 7 days road trip for celebrating Christmas and New Year. I always wished for a road trip and finally it is happening. Shopping, surfing, local sightseeing and partying is the theme for this trip. Fun at the Gold Coast beaches, meeting old friends and fireworks in Sydney is on the cards.
Unfortunately, my brother won’t be able to join us as his wife’s delivery date is approaching and he doesn’t want to take any risk.
To begin with the details, we will start our journey by car on December 24th. Firstly, we will travel to the Gold Coast where we will meet our high school friends, Nick and Josh. They are throwing a party on Christmas night in the club Deval. Then, on 26th and 27th do the local sightseeing, enjoying the beach and surfing. On 28th we move to my cousin’s place in Sydney. We will do some shopping and enjoy the engagement ceremony of my cousin on 30th. Then, on December 31st will go to the Sydney Opera House and enjoy the late night fireworks. Finally, on January 1st we will head back to Melbourne.
I hope you like the idea of this trip. Please write to me soon so that I can confirm the itinerary to others.
Best regards,
John
