The graph below shows the fertility rate of women in six Gulf countries.
The given bar graph compares the fertility rate of women in six different Gulf countries between 1990 and 2000.
It is clear that the fertility rate declined over the decade in all the countries. The number of births per woman in oman and saudi Arabia was higher than the other four countries.
In 1990, oman women had the highest fertility rate, with 7 births per woman, closely followed by saudi arabian, with 6.7. On the other hand, the average of births for each woman in Qatar, and UAE countries was about 4. Bahrain and Kuwait had the lowest rate in fertility of woman with about 3.5 births of woman.
In 2000, although there was a noticeable decreased in the fertility rate of a woman, oman and saudi arabian were still the countries which had the highest rates in births per woman, stood at 5.5. In the remain countries, the figures reduced to 2-3 by the year 2000.
