TOEFL TPO 02 - Integrated Writing Task

The passage and lecturer are about working as a team in many organizations. The passage gives some of the advantages of working in a group. While the lecturer illustrates the opposite sides of the passage’s views by working on the project in a group of members in the company.
Firstly, The primary benefit that the author of the passage brings about is by having a variety of knowledge, skills or even expertise could finish all of the assigned tasks much faster. On the other hand, The lecturer disagreed with this one by claiming that the members within a group might have opposite attitudes toward the project which caused the delay in reaching consensus.
Secondly, The author of the passage put forward the second advantage which was coming up with some creative solutions which made by risky decisions. So when the decisions went wrong, all members of a group would be responsible for these decisions. But the lecturer opposed that if the direction of the plan or decisions seemed not worked for the project. It would bring about the ignorance of members within a group and moreover when it came to failure, the blame dispersed to the whole group.
Finally, The author of the passage posits that many members felt that being a part of making decisions was much better than obliged task and furthermore, it would be a great opportunity to show their abilities to contribute them because the result was not only remembered but also significant. While the lecturer opposes this thought by saying that many members were given a free ride. Although, they didn’t much support their project and he added that if any members did a good job or gave more insights into the group, they wouldn’t be recognized by the whole group.

We are expecting: No. of Words: 350 while No. of Different Words: 200
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

It is not exactly right on the topic in the view of e-grader. Maybe there is a wrong essay topic.
