Some countries are struggling with an increase in the rate of crime. Many people think that having more police on the streets is the only way to reduce crime.
To what extent do you agree?
It is true that the crime rate is increasing day by day. There are various of situation can be done by both hands. Government and people can make a huge role in decreasing the crime rate.
In my point of view, I agree that government can offer more forecasts to check on the minor area where criminals are living and this way police can know their places and it won't be easy for them to go out one's police is surrounded. In addition, the government should provide CC cameras, this way it will be tranquil for police to track where crime is taking place. For instance, shopping malls, restaurants, in the street and in a hotel. The government should also consist of some strict punishments, such as imprisonment, physical and financial punishment. These beneficial can marginally drop the crime rate in most of the societies and communities.
On the other hand, individuals can also help and teach adolescents about crime negative impact on society and try to talk and find out the piece of knowledge, why crimes are higher by most teenagers and young elders. Due to this reason, we can stop them with criminals action. However, eye-witness can also make a change to stop crime by reporting quickly in the nearest police station for the police to take strict action towards the crime.
To conclude, people and government can make a change to cut the crime rate, police enforcement is a great opinion but it won't make a much significant change unless we also do our job to fix crime rate.
