The table illustrates the proportion of population who cycled in a town in 2011, according by 5 different age groups.
Overall, it is clear that in all age groups, female cyclists were higher than male cyclists. Also, the percentage of citizen who cycled bicycles in both genders had the highest proportion at the age 0-9 and lowest proportion at 40-59.
A half of population was cyclists in both genders at the youngest age. And this number still continuously was high at 10-17, compared with the other age groups, with 42,2% of women but the number of male cyclists decreased more than a half to under 25%.
At the age 18-39, the proportion of people cycled remained drop significantly. Furthermore, the number of female cyclists and male cyclists had the lowest proportion respectively 12,3% and 8% at the age 40 to under 60. However, those cycled who over 60 once more time increased sightly to 18,5% and 13,2%, respective women and men.
