The diagram above illustrates how geothermal energy can be used in order to make electricity.
Overall, the procedure of producing electricity consists of five steps. it starts when cold water is pumped down to underground, next it goes through geothermal zone, then hot water is pumped up to condenser, where the water gets steamed and after coming out of generator and turbine it is ready to be used as electrisity.
First, cold water is pumped down to 4.5 km, where it passes through the injection well. In geothermal zone, water is heated by hot rocks. Before puming up to condenser, hot water goes to the production well.
after that, water is condensed and gets steamed. Later, steamed water enters to turbine, which is powered by steam. The last step of making electricity is done in generator, where it is powered by turbine. after all these processes electricity can be provided to the public.
