The table below gives the results of two surveys, in 1997 and 2006
the table below provides information about the data in 9 year period from 1997 to 2006 of two surveys {external, internal}, in both people were asked which communication skills were vital in their work.
overall, there was a significant climb in all the skills by the time given especially in listening carefully to colleagues from 38 percentage to 47 percentage by approximately 9 %. except in one, that slipped back slightly which is selling a product or service and
in 1997, it was clear that the most important skill for worker according to the table was dealing with people by 60 %, on the opposite side making speeches or presentation was the least likeable skill by 7 per cent.
as well as in 2006, in spite of the fact that making speeches or presentation had a modest increase it still the lowest percentage.
on the other hand, the highest percentage was dealing with people with an increase of approximately 5 per cent.
