You saw an advertisement for a skiing course in Canada but you have one or two problems and can’t stay for the whole course.
Write a letter to the course director. In your letter
• explain your interest in the course
• describe your problems
• find out if a refund is possible
Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to inform you that I had enrolled for a skiing course in Canada however I would not be able to stay for a whole course. Let me explain the situation in detail.
To elucidate I had read your advertisement in the local newspaper which provided two months of practical and theoretical training on skiing at a very attractive price during summer vacations. Additionally, the course also covered visa, lodging and boarding for international students moreover the training was to be given by famous skier James Button who has a great reputation in the industry hence I was interested to enrol for the course. Although I was looking forward to joining the camp in mid of may however due to an urgent assignment I will not be able to complete the full course as I would be busy on a project assignment during the whole summer. The project assignment was announced at a later stage and is very critical as it contributes marks to my bachelor's degree.
