On a recent holiday, you lost a valuable item. Fortunately, you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost.
Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter
describe the item you lost
explain how you lost it
tell the insurance company what you would like them to do
Dear Sir,
I am writing this epistle to claim insurance of a valuable item which I lost while travelling from China to Japan. Let me explain the incident.
To elucidate I have lost a wristwatch which I had inherited was from my grandfather. The speciality about the watch was that it had a golden rug and straps. The expensive wristwatch was of great sentimental value to me as it was carried from one generation to another for nearly three decades in my family. Although I can't remember exactly where I lost the watch however I believe while boarding the plane the wristwatch was stolen by some co-passenger. Furthermore, I tried to register my complaint with the lost and found the department of the airline on arrival at Japan airport, however, they too have failed miserably in location the watch.
Lastly, the only good thing which has happened is that the watch was covered by your insurance which provided full coverage on damage as well as theft. Hence I request you to inquire into the matter and provide full reimbursement of the watch. I am also attaching the insurance coverage document for your reference which will allow you to process the claim faster.
Looking forward to your response.
Yours sincerely
Saud
