The chart shows the unemployment situation in Australia in the year 2012
The line graph shows unemployment status in rural areas and urban areas as percentage in Australia in 2012 and this situation is divided four quarters in year.
If we look at the graph carefully, rural areas’ unemployment had the highest rate by %6.5 in first quarter while the people who lives in the rural area had the lowest unemployment rate by %2.
To continue with, in comparison to urban areas’ unemployment rate, which was up to %4, rural areas’ unemployment fallen to almost %4.5 in end of the 2nd quarter. İmmediately after, urban unemployment rate saw %2 as sharply decreased and rural unemployment rate was around %5.5 in 3rd quarter. In end of the 4th quarter, people who lives in cities and rural regions had almost same unemployment rate by %4.5 and around %4.8 respectively.
To sum up, generally, ın spide of the fact that unemployment rates has fluctuation sometimes along quarters, urban areas’ unemployment rate increases whereas rural areas’ unemployment rate decreases
