In your apartment building there is an entrance hall which you share with your neighbours. Recently there have been some problems with this shared area. Write a letter to your neighbours. In your letter
introduce yourself and describe the problem or problems
suggest what could be done to improve the situation
suggest a meeting to talk about it
Dear Neighbors,
I am Sen Gupta, residing at flat number 101, which is adjacent to entrance hall of the building. I am writing to highlight some concerns regarding the entrance hall which is shared by everyone. But, in the past couple of weeks, it has been observed by my family members that many of us use the entrance hall to put our leftovers in open space. These leftovers are creating foul smell in the lift lobby and flats near to entrance hall. Due to this, it has become very difficult for all to walk in this area.
I would like to suggest some ways, which could be helpful to get rid of this issue. Primarily, we can throw these belongings directly outside the apartment rather than putting them in entrance hall. Secondly, we can hire someone to collect these leftovers directly from our doorsteps which could be more benficial. Lastly, we can keep it in our store rooms, if it's not smelling bad.
Let's have a meeting to discuss this issue further as soon as possible, so that we can resolve it going forward. In this meeting, we can have everyone's opinion and suggestions to resolve this particular issue. Moreover, we can give more suggestions from everyone if they have any better idea.
Looking forward to hear from all the neighbors.
Yours sincerely,
Malvika
