The bar chart and table illustrate the amount of export revenue in 5 industries in one country from 2015 to 2016, measured in billion dollars and the changes in the proportion of each industry.
Overall, most of the categories witnessed an increase in the export earnings in 2016, except for Gems and jewellery. The two main export industries were Petroleum products and engineered goods, while the textiles industry had accounted for the highest percentage change in values (from 2015 to 2016).
In 2015, the largest highest revenue from export was to be found in Petroleum products with approximately 61 billions dollar. It was followed by Engineered good, which earned about 57 billion, however, the percentage change of the latter nearly tripled the former, 8.5% and 3% respectively, thus the export earnings of two categories were nearly similar in 2016. Although the textiles industry constituted the smallest value of, at around $26 billion in 2015, it reached over 30% in 2016 with the highest changes of in proportion, at 15.24%.
In terms of Gems and jewellery, about 43 billions dollar was earned in 2015, however, it was the only industry products that had a decrease in the export revenue of, at 5.18% to around 41 billion in 2016. Just/only 0.81% of change was seen in the agricultural products’ value in 2016, so the earnings were nearly the same in both years, at above 30 billions dollar.
