I am writing this letter to inform you that unfortunately I won't be able to start working in the agreed date due to some issues that happened to me earlier this week, as I supposed to begin my service on the may 21th, however, my parents have come from Syria to see me after very long time and they will get back their homes on may 22th.
In fact my parents are visiting Toronto for the first time and they know nothing here. Moreover, they didn't speak english at all. thus, they need an assist form me especially during the last couple of days. Therefore, I have to stay with them for merely 2 days, and then, I'll drop them at the airport and waiting until they ride the plane.
Thus, I would be extremely grateful if it possible for me to change my starting date which was on may 21th and make it on 23th may will really kind of you, and you can deduct those 2 days from my holiday allowance.
And finally I hope that my request does not cause you any inconvenience.
