The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
A glance at the two plans provided allows comparisons between a university's sports centre now and after redevelopment. Overall, the reception, the pool, the changing room, the seating and the gym should remain in the future. However, the two outdoor courts should be replaced in the future by a leisure pool and a sports hall.
The gym should stay at the same place, as well as the reception, the pool, the changing room and the seating, but the second plan indicates that the gym should be expanded. It is important to point out that the space improved should be the double of the current area.
The present outdoor courts on the west side of the map should be replaced by leisure pool. Near the leisure pool there are plans to build another changing room and a Sports shop. In the opposite side of the layout, it is possible to see a third changing room, precisely in the southeast corner of the layout, close to the new Café.
The outdoor courts on the east side of the map should be replaced by the sports hall. Two dance studios close to the sports hall are also planned.
